Connor prefers the gates, but today he PINpoints home from the Nexus, holding the bottom edge of his t-shirt up in one hand, because it's full of candy. Never, not even after a good amount of scotch, has he truly been drunk, but he looks pretty unsteady right now. He's also grinning like a loon. His voice cracks a little in a high, sing-song tone. "Suuundrop! I'm home and I brought caaandy!" He stumbles a little, chuckles to himself, and looks down. "Hey 'Gina. Want some candy?"

She'd better come quick before he LOLs the dog.

There just may be a talk later, about bringing home LOLed food from the Nexus. Of course, April encouraged him, but she was under the influence by then, too. It's such good candy though, the way it makes the world feel like a happy, silly, shiny place.

Connor can hardly remember the last time he felt this worry-free.

"Mmm... you taste like candy." He chuckles when they part lips, and then goes in for a little more research. He's had plenty of candy. Right now, she's more interesting.

She really likes this Connor, the one who doesn't have nightmares and the one who likes candy and laughs at his own dirty jokes.

Kairos preens a little bit in his arms. "All natural, baby." Sure it is, Kai. "What kind?"

Connor's tastes tend towards fairly healthy food, but there was a time he was happy to get drunk with trusted friends and laugh over dirty jokes. It's been too long, but maybe someday he'll be that way again, without the aid of LOLs.

He gives her another long exploratory kiss, and looks thoughtful. "Mmmm...chocolatey?"

Unfortunately he's looking pretty lethargic, apart from the kissing. Too much candy took him beyond mellow and he's half melted into the couch. The hangover won't be pretty, either, although he usually gets over these things quick. She may not be so lucky.

He nuzzles and kisses, but lets her have a break to eat more candy if she wants it.

Kai really isn't the sort to get off her ass drunk, so there won't be lots of candy eating. But there's lots of nuzzling and kissing.

But then... "NOTHING!" she says triumphantly.

"...What??" He stares at her muzzily, completely bewildered. His brain is currently working at quarter speed, if that.

Connor blinks at her again, and nods, and then starts to laugh. "Best to have a healthy breeze..."

"Kilts are modern. When I was a boy, all you had was a length of tartan, and you knew how to wrap and pleat it properly..." He scoffs at you modern Scots and your shortcuts in fashion.

"Amn't!" He eats another piece of candy anyway. "But if you get me a good piece of MacLeod tartan sometime, I'll show you how it goes..."

"I can try, of course. Wonder if they make a rainbow tartan, so I can dress up for you."

"Rainbow tartan?" He chuckles, sinking deeper into the couch and unwrapping another piece of candy very slowly. He's not quite sure he really wants any more. "It wouldn't be a clan tartan, but they make all kinds of plaid, now..."

She shrugs. "Well, I don't belong to any clan, now do I? So I figure the easiest thing to wear would be rainbow. Fond of those, yanno."

"You're... mine, in a way, aren't you?" He looks hopeful and uncertain about that. The buzz is just barely starting to wear off, for him. "You could wear the MacLeod tartan."

She looks at him, silent for a moment. "I haven't belonged to anyone before."

"Well... you're... like family..." He starts playing with the candy in his lap, trying to stack like items, and avoiding her gaze with that bashful smile that makes him look like a teenager again.

"Aww, Connor!" She launches herself at him at wraps her arms around his neck.

"Uff!" He smiles, and puts his arms around her partly to steady her. Candy tumbles off his lap and spills all over. "My little Sundrop..."

She doesn't even care that there's a piece of hard candy beneath her knee. She's too intent on her handsome boyfriend. "Oh, yessir. That I am."

They can clean up the candy later. The dog's probably lost interest by now. Connor smiles and nuzzles her neck and tries to get her settled more comfortably. "Just what I needed when I wasn't even looking..."

"Yep. That's me." she agrees happily, placing tiny little kisses along his jawline.. "I'm a ninja. Didn't see me coming."

"...You are nothing like a ninja. Ninja were bad." He's not up to the current ninja vs. pirate debate, but he did spend some time in Japan. She needs to give him a good current pop-culture education, sometime.

Connor tilts his head back to let her kiss his stubbly jaw and neck. Mmm she's warm, and he's got a stomachful of candy, and he just might fall asleep right here.
