He may taste just a little like brown sugar pop tarts. He's been hitting them hard lately, for breakfast and snacks. He's happy to pet the dog, though, because ultimately he is an any-animal person. "Hey, there, pretty girl," he murmurs softly.
He glances up as the others start to make for the inside of the pound. "Sure, yeah."
Straightening again with a wince, he moves to get the door for the others.
