He's using the back of the blade, as if it were a pointer, and he corrects her grip a little before taking up a similar stance beside her, instead of facing her. "Never forget your feet, your balance. It doesn't matter how good you can swing a sword if your opponent can knock you on your ass." The slang sounds a little strange mixed with his European accent.
