Contact post: I has one. In character, Connor avoids the phone like the plague (Not that he actually avoids the plague, since he can't get sick- never mind), so your best bet is to catch him in person. The mun is available here or by private message, though!
A few notes for people joining this journal from some other comm: I use this journal to RP on several communities, notably sixwordstories, joes_bar, and dear_multiverse. IC entries in this journal all pertain to the version familiar with dear_multiverse, and therefore probably won't make sense if you've come here from somewhere else. The version for Joe's Bar is separate, and any activities of that version are played out only in joes_bar and possibly linked entries on other player's journals. On sixwordstories I may play either version in the modern time, and if you're confused feel free to ask! Usually it's the Nexus-friendly version, though. I may also play Connor at earlier points in history, because the chance to do so is just too utterly awesome to miss.
In all cases, the monster of a timeline should make a handy reference. All versions adhere to this timeline, at least up until summer of 2010.

I just wanted to say hello, and thank you for the quick turnaround on applications for joes_bar; I've had a really fun time looking over the posts since I apped Lorelei there.

It'd be pretty neat if she and Connor met, I think--she's already met Methos, but no one else yet--and so...yeah. That and I love your Connor. The guy seems pretty awesome, if pretty awesomely troubled too.

No problem, and welcome to the comm! Unfortunately most of the posts on Connor's actual journal are for an alternate version. I started playing him in Dear_Multiverse first because there was no HL comm...

He is around... he's kind of like an attachment to Duncan for now, although he'll get himself sorted out sooner or later. I'm certainly open to them meeting, and Methos is in contact with the MacLeods so they'll probably be hearing about her soon. I was also thinking I should make some kind of on-campus post with Cavan so she can meet him... if you'd be up for that?

I certainly would be! I can't wait for people to start finding out about her, because the reactions should be entertaining at the very least. I'm still trying to work out the whys and hows of her first death yet, so having her at least be known about beforehand should help.

Definitely entertaining! I think most immortals aren't in favor of actually informing pre-immies to what they are... I know Connor isn't. Of course, he also doesn't do friendly, which is always interesting. I think that's part of why I came up with Cavan. He gets to be nice to everybody, while Connor just glowers silently at people. They wouldn't get along, I don't think...

I will make a 'Cavan in the college library' post shortly, so they can meet.

I never know how she'll get along with any given person, because while she's usually pretty fun and sweet, she's certainly capable of handling herself in cool company. Dunno about the Immortal company, though.

And I have to say I am absolutely amused by your icon. It's had me giggling in bursts for about an hour.

Yeah, Connor can turn some people off, unfortunately. That's just the risks of playing him, I guess. He's a good guy, but it seems to be canon or at least fanon that he's cautious to the point of paranoid and hard to get along with. Of course, if he starts to really harrass you, it means he likes you.

I did not make the icon, but that's basically what I've done, right? I mean, he died in Endgame but I couldn't take that, so... I've effectively resurrected him. I mean, my version never died, just came close. Anyway, here have Connor's doofy big grin face, which is also kind of funny.

Hee! Oh, Connor's doofy grin is absolutely adorable. I'm still working my way through the movies, but I've seen all of the series for Highlander. I'm having to get it through netflix, albeit slowly.

Well in case you didn't already know, HL2 is just bizarre and has nothing to do with continuity. Although continuity is something Highlander laughs at in general, really. So. Many. Inconsistencies. It hurts.

Anyway, This Connor has been through HL (but obviously the Game wasn't over with Kurgan's death), HL3, and then Endgame but with the ending slightly altered. The timeline linked in the sidebar here hopefully helps. I should make a big one for the comm...

Yeah, looking through all the character timelines I can find have helped immensely with trying to piece together where everyone's been and when, since the characters are all over the world on a regular basis.
