Kairos is very nice, and he's glad of the place to stay, but after five years of wandering Connor gets restless easily. His nightmares are back, if not as bad as they used to be, so he's restless and tired, which isn't a good combination. Teaching and sparring with Jelani helps occupy his time, though, and so does cooking for Kairos. He still has too much spare time, so he sits on the fringes of the Nexus, and watches, and puts off going home to his own world.

"Can I use you for a pillow?" asks Silver, rubbing one eye with a grubby fist.

-Awww. Sleepy baby,- says Miss Jenny as she leans against Connor and transmits thankful feelings for the compliment. Like her thought speech it's very clear that these feelings are somebody else talking, and there is no invasive feeling to them.

Connor lies back, one arm behind his head. His chest or stomach should make a decent pillow, although he's not a particularly soft person. She'd be better off with somebody who isn't so skinny. "All right. What are you going to dream about?" His voice is soft, and his free hand keeps scratching Miss Jenny. he's just a little afraid she'll complain if he stops. That wouldn't matter so much if she wasn't speaking in his head.
